As we expand across 30-40 partner schools this academic year, we are looking for passionate educators who can inspire students from Grade I to Grade IX through Robotics, Coding, and hands-on project-based learning.
POSITION: ROBOTICS EDUCATOR / STEM INNOVATION MENTOR
Location: Multiple schools across assigned regions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will not be a traditional teacher. You will act as a mentor who helps students:
1. Build and program robots
2. Solve real-world problems through projects
3. Think like engineers and innovators
4. Develop creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills
5. Participate in inter-school Robotics Innovation Challenges
You will be responsible for delivering Robotics curriculum, conducting lab sessions, mentoring projects, assessing learning outcomes, and continuously improving the program through school-level feedback to leadership and content team
SELECTION AND CERTIFICATION JOURNEY
At EkaLavya, student learning outcomes are our highest priority. Since Robotics education requires a combination of technical understanding, classroom delivery skills, activity management, and student engagement, we follow a structured selection process.
The selection journey includes:
1. Interview and Practical Assessment
Candidates who successfully clear the interview and practical teaching assessment will receive a conditional offer for the Robotics Educator role.
2. Robotics Faculty Induction and Certification
Before independent classroom deployment, selected candidates must successfully complete a structured induction and certification program (typically 3-7 days in hybrid mode).
The certification process will include:

Grade-wise learning journey
Robotics kit handling
Project execution
Lab activities
Classroom management
Student engagement techniques
Practice teaching sessions
3. Classroom Readiness and Final Appointment
After successful completion of training and certification, appointment confirmation will be made based on:
Technical capability
Teaching demonstration
Student-centric classroom approach
Feedback from internal mentors
Feedback from school stakeholders
Performance during live classroom sessions
As Robotics is not a regular school subject and requires a different learning curve, we do not permanently deploy faculty members without observing their classroom readiness.
Every educator will receive continuous support, mentoring, and need-based training interventions.
Performance will be reviewed during the initial 1-6 month period through multiple feedback loops to ensure success for both the educator and students

Fresh graduates passionate about STEM education and willing to undergo intensive training OR

COMPENSATION AND APPOINTMENT APPROACH
At EkaLavya, we believe that a Robotics Educator requires more than technical knowledge. The ability to engage students, create a positive classroom culture, deliver experiential learning, manage projects, and inspire young minds are equally important.
Therefore, the journey is designed in two stages:
Stage 1: Learning, Certification and Classroom Readiness Phase
After successfully clearing the interview and practical assessment, selected candidates will receive a conditional offer to undergo:
Robotics faculty induction
Pedagogy and classroom training
Curriculum orientation
Practical project training
Certification process
Supported live classroom exposure
During this phase, compensation will include:
1.8 lakh fixed annual component and Performance-linked incentive of 2,000-5,000 every month (subject to defined performance parameters and feedback)
Stage 2: Appointment as Independent Robotics Educator
After successful completion of certification and demonstration of readiness through live classroom sessions, candidates will receive an official appointment letter who demonstrate:
Technical competency
Student-centric teaching approach
Classroom management ability
Alignment with EkaLavya values and culture
Positive feedback from internal mentors and school stakeholders

The revised CTC at the appointment stage will be in the range of 3-4 lakh per annum, depending on experience, performance during training and classroom sessions, demonstrated capability and stakeholder feedback. This structured approach ensures that educators receive the right support to succeed while ensuring students receive the quality of learning experience they deserve.
