Job Summary

Shri Ram Global School, Whitefield, is looking for a committed and enthusiastic PRT Social Studies Teacher with 1–2 years of teaching experience. The ideal candidate should possess a B.Ed. qualification and demonstrate strong communication skills. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Social Studies lessons to primary-grade students, helping them understand key concepts in history, geography, civics, and culture through interactive and student-centered methods. A passion for teaching and the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities

Deliver interactive and age-appropriate Social Studies lessons aligned with the curriculum for primary grades.

Encourage critical thinking and inquiry-based learning to help students understand historical, geographical, and civic concepts.

Use storytelling, visual aids, and real-life examples to make social topics engaging and relatable.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments to track student progress effectively.

Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and participation.

Coordinate with other subject teachers to integrate interdisciplinary learning where applicable.

Organize educational activities such as quizzes, model displays, or project work to enhance learning outcomes.

Communicate regularly with parents to update them on academic performance and behavioral development.

Participate actively in school events, workshops, and professional development sessions.
