Role Overview:
The teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for children, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities
Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment
Monitor and record students’ progress and development
Ensure safety and well-being of all children at all times
Communicate regularly with parents regarding child progress
Manage classroom behavior effectively
Prepare teaching materials and classroom displays
Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions
Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and procedures
Skills & Requirements:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children
Ability to manage and engage a group of young learners
Basic knowledge of child development and early education
Relevant qualification (ECCEd / D.Ed / B.Ed preferred)
Additional Expectations:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Work collaboratively with other staff members
Be punctual and responsible
