English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher to join our team at Anant Valley Public School. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English to school students and helping them build strong language and communication skills. The role includes planning and conducting engaging lessons, developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.

The teacher will also focus on communication as a practical life skill by creating regular opportunities for students to speak, participate in discussions, express their thoughts and opinions, ask questions, give presentations, tell stories, and communicate confidently in English.

The candidate should be able to create student-friendly and activity-based lesson plans rather than relying only on textbooks. They should be comfortable working with students of different learning levels and provide support and feedback based on individual needs.

The role also involves assessing student learning, maintaining records, collaborating with other teachers, participating in school activities, and contributing to the overall academic and personal development of students.

We are looking for someone with good spoken and written English, strong communication skills, confidence in the classroom, and a genuine interest in working with children. Prior experience in teaching English in a school setting will be preferred. A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English or a related field and B.Ed. will be an advantage.
