Educator

We are looking for a Special Educator to join our team at Sonal Special Day Care Center with a strong background in one or more academic subjects. The tutor/teacher will be responsible to develop lesson plans and teach students according to their educational needs. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹6000 - ₹10000 and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Tailor lessons and activity plans based on each student’s needs and abilities.

• Adapt curriculum and resources: Use specialized teaching materials, such as tactile graphics, Braille books, or large print texts. Provide accommodations like adjustable desks, wheelchair ramps, or specialized seating.

• Classroom management: Maintain a safe, productive, and inclusive classroom environment. Ensure accessibility for all students.

• Collaborate with staff and families: Communicate with parents, therapists, counselors, and other teachers to track progress and address student challenges.

• Monitor and assess student performance: Create and distribute progress reports, perform evaluations, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

• Participation in workshops and training programs: Stay updated with latest teaching techniques, physical therapy practices, and assistive technology forJob Requirements:

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university. A Diploma in Special Education (DSE)

• It is a Full Time Teacher / Tutor job for candidates with 1 - 6+ years Experience.
