Role Overview
This role is the backbone of warehouse performance. You’ll drive end-to-end operations with discipline, streamline workflows, and maintain strict service-level commitments. The mandate is simple: keep the floor efficient, accurate, safe, and customer-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily inbound, outbound, and inventory operations with zero deviation from SOPs.
• Lead and mentor the warehouse team, ensuring strong coordination between supervisors, pickers, packers, and HR.
• Implement process controls to drive accuracy in GRN, order processing, put-away, picking, dispatch, and documentation.
• Track productivity KPIs — TAT, pick accuracy, shrinkage, OTIF — and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain best-in-class storage practices, space utilisation, and material handling standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, statutory norms, audits, and client SLAs.
• Coordinate closely with clients, transport teams, and cross-functional stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Optimise resource planning — manpower, MHE, consumables — with a cost-conscious, data-driven approach.
• Escalate operational risks proactively and implement corrective actions without delay.
• Drive adoption of digital tools, WMS, and automation initiatives to modernise operations.
Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or 3PL operations.
• Strong command over WMS, basic analytics, and reporting dashboards.
• Proven track record in manpower management and process adherence.
• Ability to handle pressure, tight timelines, and dynamic client expectations.
• Solid understanding of FMCG/e-commerce/retail supply chain (any one is enough).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
