Warehouse Manager – Job Description

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to manage daily warehouse operations, lead the team, maintain stock accuracy, ensure safety and compliance, and achieve operational targets on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, dispatch, loading/unloading, billing and documentation.

• Plan and allocate daily duties to warehouse staff and monitor their performance.

• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure smooth opening and closing of the warehouse.

• Ensure proper stock handling, storage, stacking and space utilization.

• Monitor stock accuracy through daily, monthly and annual stock counts.

• Handle stock reconciliation and resolve shortages or discrepancies.

• Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, hygiene and security standards are followed.

• Ensure all employees follow company policies, SOPs and grooming standards.

• Monitor daily warehouse reports and prepare reports for management.

• Handle customer concerns and warehouse-related issues on time.

• Coordinate with management and act as the SPOC for warehouse-related matters.

• Train, guide and motivate the warehouse team to improve productivity.

• Monitor warehouse expenses, petty cash and financial records.

• Maintain all warehouse documents, licenses and statutory records.

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve warehouse efficiency.

• Ensure products are stored safely and protected from damage.

• Prepare and monitor warehouse budgets and expenses.

• Support audits and ensure compliance with company requirements.
