Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join our growing operations team. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day dispatch activities, tracking transport vehicles, preparing shipping paperwork, and coordinating with local delivery drivers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities (Duties)

• Vehicle & Driver Tracking: Track shipments daily, monitor delivery timelines, and update tracking systems or Excel sheets in real-time.

• Paperwork & Documentation: Generate error-free Delivery Challans, Invoices, and E-Way bills before vehicles leave the facility.

• Vendor & Driver Coordination: Coordinate with third-party transport partners (3PL) and call local drivers to arrange vehicles, negotiate basic freight rates, and assign delivery routes.

• Stock Verification: Check that outbound items exactly match dispatch invoices to ensure zero delivery errors.

• Problem Solving: Call customers or transport hubs directly to resolve delivery delays, transit issues, or damaged product complaints.
  

Candidate Requirements (Skills)

• Computer Knowledge: Must know basic operations on computers with good command over MS Excel (Data Entry, Basic Formulas, VLOOKUP).

• Languages Known: Fluency in the local regional language (to easily communicate with local drivers) and basic English (to read invoices and operate system software).

• Assets Required: Must own a smartphone. (Having a personal 2-wheeler with a valid driving license is a plus).

• Key Traits: Strong communication skills over the phone, active problem-solving skills, and a high sense of responsibility under pressure.
