Core Roles and Responsibilities
Inbound & Receiving: Inspect incoming raw materials or finished goods, verify quantities against purchase orders or delivery challans, and record them in the warehouse management system
Storage & Layout Management: Ensure goods are placed in designated bin locations, optimize storage density, and maintain proper stock rotation
Outbound & Dispatch: Generate pick lists, oversee order picking and packing, prepare invoices or e-way bills, and supervise vehicle loading.
Returns Management (RTO): Inspect returned or rejected items, process replacements, and sort goods into usable stock or scrap areas
Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace health and safety guidelines, maintain facility cleanliness (5S standards), and manage equipment maintenance.
Reporting: Generate daily and periodic reports on stock levels, inbound/outbound status, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management
