Procurement Officer – Construction

About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage construction material procurement and vendor coordination. The role will involve regular site visits to understand material requirements, coordinate deliveries, verify materials, and ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.

Key ResponsibilitiesHandle end-to-end procurement of construction and interior materials, equipment, and services.

• Visit project sites to understand material requirements and coordinate with site teams.

• Source and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

• Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records.

• Coordinate material deliveries to ensure timely availability at project sites.

• Verify delivered materials against quantity, specifications, and purchase requirements.

• Track pending materials, orders, and deliveries and provide regular updates.

• Coordinate with Project, Site, Design, and Finance teams for procurement planning.

• Maintain vendor databases and evaluate vendor performance.
  Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction/interior procurement.

  • Knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and local supplier markets.

  • Willingness to travel for regular construction site visits.

  • Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, purchase orders, quotations, and procurement

• It is a Full Time గిడ్డంగి / లాజిస్టిక్స్ job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
