Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Apparel Sourcing Specialist with strong knowledge in garment manufacturing, vendor management, and cost negotiation. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in apparel sourcing and a strong supplier network in major garment hubs like Tirupur, Surat, or Jaipur.

The role involves identifying reliable vendors, negotiating prices, ensuring quality standards, and managing production timelines for ecommerce sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and develop garment manufacturers and fabric suppliers.

2. Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and production timelines.

3. Handle sampling process and approve pre-production samples.

4. Monitor bulk production and ensure on-time delivery.

5. Coordinate with quality team for inspections.

6. Maintain vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.

7. Work closely with internal team for new product development.

8. Control costing to maintain target profit margins.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.

• Experience in women’s wear / ethnic wear / western wear sourcing.

• Vendor network in Indian garment clusters.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Understanding of costing, margins, and ecommerce pricing strategy.

• Ability to manage multiple suppliers simultaneously.

Qualification

• Degree / Diploma in Fashion Technology / Textile / Apparel Production.

• Minimum 5 years experience in garment sourcing or merchandising.

Salary Range (India)

• ₹3.5 LPA – ₹8 LPA (Based on experience and supplier network strength)
