Transport Coordinator

• Logistics Scheduling: Plan and schedule daily transportation routes, carrier schedules, and vehicle maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency.

• Tracking and Dispatching: Track shipments in real-time and maintain communication with drivers, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD).

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, including bills of lading, freight documents, and compliance with transportation regulations.

• Problem-Solving: Address, document, and resolve freight discrepancies, damage claims, and customer service issues.

• Vendor Management: Negotiate with carriers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality transportation services.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Generally 2-4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.

• Education: High school diploma required, though a degree in logistics, business, or supply chain is preferred.

• Skills: Proficiency with transport management systems (TMS), strong communication, and strong, high-speed, and accurate data handling skills.
