Key responsibilities :
Inventory planning and control
Maintain stock of EV spare parts: batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, brakes, tyres, body panels and consumables.
Set and review minimum, maximum and reorder levels from consumption trends and fleet size.
Classify parts (ABC / fast-, slow- and non-moving) and act on dead and slow stock.
Track battery and electronic parts by serial number, including warranty status.
Procurement and vendor coordination
Raise purchase requests on time and follow up with vendors and OEMs on delivery.
Inspect incoming material against PO and invoice for quantity, quality and part number before GRN.
Manage returns, replacements and warranty claims for defective parts with suppliers.
Issuance to the service team
Issue parts against job cards or approved requisitions only, with returns of old and faulty parts recorded.
Prioritise parts for vehicles that are off-road so they return to service quickly.
Coordinate with the Hub Manager and Service Supervisor on daily part needs and urgent requirements.
Systems and records
Keep the inventory system or stock register accurate in real time: receipts, issues, returns and transfers.
Manage inter-hub stock transfers with proper documentation.
Share weekly stock, consumption and shortage reports, and a monthly inventory valuation.
Audits, compliance and safety
Run daily cycle counts and a full monthly physical stock audit; investigate and close variances.
Keep the store organised with bin locations, labelling and FIFO.
Store and handle lithium-ion batteries per safety norms, and ensure e-waste and scrap are disposed of correctly.
