Store Executive

Position: Store Executive

Department: Stores / Inventory

Reports To: Store Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary

The Store Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and record-keeping of materials and inventory. The role ensures accurate stock maintenance, timely material availability, and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders and delivery challans.

• Maintain proper records of material receipts, issues, and stock balances.

• Ensure proper storage and identification of materials.

• Issue materials to production or other departments as per approved requisitions.

• Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory checks.

• Maintain inventory records in ERP/software and update stock transactions.

• Monitor stock levels and inform management about reorder requirements.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.

• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments regarding inventory matters.

• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in store/inventory management.

• Knowledge of inventory control and stock management.

• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP/Inventory Software).

• Good communication and organizational skills.
