About the Company
Vaishnav Fasteners is a 35-year-old precision fastener manufacturer supplying to leading OEMs like Schneider Electric and Siemens.
We produce over 20 million screws and assemblies per month across our Vasai, Mira Road, Kaman and Dahisar plants.
We’re building a modern, data-driven quality system — and looking for disciplined, detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to join our quality team.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and active In-Process Quality Inspector to join our production team. This is not a desk job. You will be stationed on the shopfloor at all times, ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet strict technical specifications in real-time. You will be responsible for catching deviations early and ensuring every part produced aligns with our engineering standards.
Shopfloor Presence: Maintain a constant presence on the production floor to monitor active jobs.
Precision Measurement: Perform regular inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other specialized gauges.
Drawing Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
Real-time Documentation: Use a smartphone/tablet to fill out inspection forms, update Excel sheets, and navigate our internal system (InveeSync) for data logging.
Non-Conformance Reporting: Identify and flag any parts or processes that do not meet quality standards, assisting in root cause analysis where necessary.
Technical Proficiency: Proven experience using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer).
Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to understand and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
Digital Literacy: Must be "mobile-friendly." Comfortable using smartphone apps for data entry and basic Excel for reporting.
Physical Stamina: Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the shopfloor for the duration of the shift.
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (fasteners or hardware preferred).
A "sharp eye" for detail.
The ability to work independently without constant supervision.
A proactive attitude toward maintaining quality and safety standards.
