A Quality Incharge oversees all manufacturing quality aspects, implementing inspection procedures (raw materials to finished goods), managing QC teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. They identify defects, analyze trends, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with production to maintain high standards.
Key responsibilities :
Quality Planning & Implementation: Developing and maintaining quality assurance (QA) policies, systems, and procedures.
Inspections & Audits: Conducting regular audits, visual, and measurement tests to ensure compliance.
Documentation & Reporting: Recording findings, preparing quality reports, and maintaining accurate records for management.
Process Improvement: Analyzing data, identifying root causes of defects, and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
Team Leadership: Managing and training QC staff and inspectors.
Compliance & Safety: Ensuring products meet legal, regulatory, and customer standards.
Collaboration: Working with production, purchasing, and technical teams to resolve issues.
