Quality Inspector

Duties and responsibilities

 Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures for machine

shop operations.

 Conduct inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure

they meet established quality standards.

 Identify areas for quality improvement and work collaboratively with the production

team to implement corrective and preventive actions.

 Analyze root causes of quality issues and develop solutions to address them.

 Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and findings.

 Prepare quality reports and communicate quality metrics to management and relevant

stakeholders.

 Provide training to machine shop personnel on quality control processes and best

practices.

 Perform mechanical and dimensional testing on machined components using various

measurement tools and equipment.

 Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) when required.
