Communicating discrepancies to supervisors
What you need -Basic Communication, Proactiveness
Working shifts alongside production operations
What you need -Punctuality, Physical Stamina (for shop floor environment)
Quality Checking for Glass Defects
1. Identifying common glass defects (e.g., bubbles, scratches, chips, printing errors, optical distortion)
What you need - Sharp Eyesight, Observation Skills, Patience
2. Using basic measuring tools (e.g., gauges, scales) for checks
What you need -Manual Dexterity, Basic Math Skills
3. Documenting passed/failed products as per standards
What you need -Adherence to Standards, Integrity
4. Segregating rejected material appropriately
What you need -Judgment, Responsibility
Who can Apply
ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Graduates: Especially in trades like Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or Quality Control. Why? Because you are already oriented towards a manufacturing environment.
Diploma Holders (Polytechnic): In Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering. Why? Because you will have a better understanding of the processes.
10+2 (Science/Maths Stream) or Commerce Graduates: Suitable for the pure data recording aspects, providedyou can handle the shop-floor environment.
Willingness to learn about automotive glass manufacturing processes.
Comfortable working in a factory/shop-floor environment.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Word is a bonus, even for manual recording, as future automation is possible.
Ability to read and write basic English and hindi for internal communication and record-keeping.
