Key Responsibilities:

•         Sourcing : Find & source high-quality trims (e.g., buttons, zippers, epaulets, patches) , sampling + bulk (local & import) that meet uniform specifications, focusing on durability, best cost, and lead times.

•         Trims costing: Providing costing of trims & accessories as and when required

•         ERP (Visual Gems): Understanding & working on ERP software & ensuring timely challan preparation, dispatch.

•         Trims Stock Maintenance: Keeping a record of trims & accessories stock, timely checking, & maintaining the track record of the same.

•         Supplier Management/Follow-up: Cultivate relationships with domestic and international suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance for quality and timely delivery along with timely submission of bills to accounts department.

•         Collaboration: Work with the design, production team at factory, quality teams, merchandising team to ensure trims and accessories align with uniform specifications and production timelines.

•         Cost Control: Manage the trims and accessories budget, always identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure 3 quotations taken, and optimize supplier contracts.

•          Market Research: Stay current on industry trends and new materials, especially those relevant to uniform production and functionality.

• Knowledge of uniform-specific materials and durable trims (preferred)
