Pricing Executive -Freight Forwarding

Role Overview:

The Pricing Executive will be responsible for updating and maintaining freight rates in the system, coordinating with carriers and overseas agents for competitive pricing, and supporting customers and internal teams with accurate quotations and rate-related information. The role requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and knowledge of freight forwarding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain ocean, air, and inland transportation rates in the company system accurately and timely.

• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, overseas agents, and vendors to obtain competitive freight rates.

• Ensure all pricing data, surcharges, and tariff updates are maintained and communicated to relevant teams.

• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Documentation teams to support business opportunities and customer requirements.

• Monitor market trends, carrier rate changes, and industry developments to ensure competitive pricing strategies.

• Maintain records of quotations, contracts, and rate agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Generate pricing reports and assist management with rate analysis and profitability assessments.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Shipping.

• Knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and Logistics pricing.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding software/ERP systems.

• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
