Picker and Packer – Job Description

A Picker and Packer is responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment in warehouses or distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists
• Check product quantity and quality before packing
• Pack items safely and label packages correctly
• Prepare orders for dispatch and delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
• Assist with inventory checking and stock handling

Skills Required:
• Basic communication and reading skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness to lift and move packages
• Teamwork and time management

Qualification:
• Minimum 10th / 12th pass (depends on company requirement)
• Prior warehouse experience is an added advantage

Work Environment:
