Job Description: Coldroom Supervisor

Position: Coldroom Supervisor

Industry: Cold Storage / Food Processing / Logistics

Location: Dankuni, Bangura, Howrah

Salary: ₹18,000 + Fooding & Lodging

Experience Required: 2–7 years (Cold storage/warehouse operations preferred)

🔧 Role Summary

The Coldroom Supervisor will oversee day-to-day cold storage operations, ensuring proper temperature control, inventory accuracy, hygiene standards, and smooth coordination with internal teams.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Coldroom Operations

• Maintain required temperature levels inside the coldroom.

• Monitor refrigeration systems and report any breakdowns or issues.

• Oversee loading, unloading, and systematic storage of materials.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of stock in/out movements.

• Conduct regular stock audits and track variances.

• Follow FIFO/FEFO for product rotation.

3. Quality & Hygiene Control

• Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in cold storage areas.

• Follow safety protocols and product quality guidelines.

4. Team Supervision

• Supervise helpers and coldroom staff during operations.

• Allocate daily responsibilities and ensure task completion.

• Provide training on safe handling and hygiene practices.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain temperature logs and stock registers.

• Prepare daily MIS reports for management review.

• Record equipment breakdowns and follow up with maintenance.

6. Coordination

• Coordinate with production, dispatch, procurement, and maintenance teams.

• Assist in planning daily dispatch and storage activities.
