Key Responsibilities
Call exporters/importers (cold calling)
Follow up on leads (you already started this)
Send quotation emails to customers
Explain your services:
Freight Forwarding (Air/Sea)
Customs Clearance (CHA)
Transportation.
Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) for import/export clearance.
Arrange freight booking with shipping lines and airlines.
Organize transportation for cargo movement (port/airport to warehouse and vice versa).
Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, etc.).
Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients.
Maintain proper shipment records and documentation.
Handle client communication regarding shipment status and requirements.
Coordinate billing and support invoice preparation.
Ensure compliance with customs and logistics regulations.
Required Skills
Good communication skills (English & local language preferred).
Basic knowledge of import-export documentation.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email handling).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com / BBA / Any Degree preferred).
Freshers can apply (training will be provided).
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance is an advantage.
