Logistics Freight Forwarder

Key Responsibilities

The primary role is to ensure accurate and timely processing of shipping documentation and data within the company's import and export workflow.

1. Data Entry and Management

• Accurate Data Input: Perform high-volume, precise data entry of all import/export transaction details (e.g., shipment weights, volumes, product codes, freight charges) into the company’s internal tracking systems (ERP, MIS, or spreadsheets).

• Record Keeping: Maintain and organize both physical and digital files for all shipping documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping policies.

• Data Verification: Cross-check data in invoices, packing lists, and Bills of Lading/Airway Bills against purchase orders and internal records to identify and correct discrepancies.

2. Import/Export Documentation Support

• Document Preparation: Assist in preparing and compiling basic shipping documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and draft customs declarations.

• Document Coordination: Coordinate the flow of documents between the sales team, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.

• Shipment Tracking: Track the status of inbound (Import) and outbound (Export) shipments and update internal records with real-time delivery information.
