Job Summary

A Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize materials safely and efficiently in warehouses, factories, logistics centers, or construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to transport goods and materials.

• Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage racks.

• Stack and organize products in designated warehouse locations.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

• Follow safety procedures and company regulations.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in stock movement.

• Report damaged goods or equipment issues to supervisors.

• Keep warehouse areas clean and organized.

• Support warehouse and logistics operations as required.

Required Skills

• Ability to operate forklift equipment safely.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.

• Basic inventory and material handling knowledge.

• Physical stamina and attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid forklift operator certification/license preferred.

• 1–3 years of warehouse or forklift operating experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse, factory, or logistics environment.

• May require lifting heavy materials and standing for long hours.

• Shift work may be required.
