Final Inspection Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of CR, HR, GI, GP, and MS sheets before dispatch.

• Verify dimensions, thickness, width, length, weight, and tolerances as per customer requirements.

• Check surface quality for dents, scratches, rust, cracks, coating defects, and other visual defects.

• Review material test certificates (MTC), inspection reports, and quality records.

• Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of finished material.

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thickness Gauge, and Measuring Tape.

• Verify packaging, bundle marking, and dispatch readiness before shipment.

• Prepare final inspection reports and maintain inspection records.

• Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, and QA teams for corrective actions on non-conforming material.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer quality requirements.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of steel sheet inspection (CR/HR/GI/GP/MS).

• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.

• Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality documentation.

• Understanding of surface defects, dimensional checks, and material identification.

• Good communication and reporting skills.
