Queens Bay International makes and exports fine paper products for B2B customers abroad. Our units are in Ghaziabad and Delhi.

Location: Factory, GT Road, Ghaziabad. Monday to Saturday.

Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 gross a month. Where you land in that range depends on what you have handled, not on your last designation.

Experience: 4+ years in export documentation.

Working hours

9:30 to 6:30, Monday to Saturday. Once you start handling customers directly it changes to 11:00 to 6:30 in the office and 7:30 to 9:00 PM from home, because our buyers are in the US and Canada. The number of hours stays the same.

The evening slot is a regular part of the job. If that does not suit you, please do not apply.

What you will do

• Prepare the full export document set: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, insurance.

• Handle bank documents under LC, DA and DP terms. Present clean sets, and sort out discrepancies when they come up.

• Work with our CHA. You send the documents, check the draft shipping bill before it goes for filing, and follow up on queries until the Let Export Order comes through.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines on email: vessel schedule, cut-off dates, container release, draft B/L approval, freight rates.

• Close the file after sailing. eBRC, drawback, RoDTEP, and follow-up with the bank on realisation.

• Deal with our US and Canada customers directly on order status, samples, artwork approvals and delays.

• Maintain the shipment register and send a monthly MIS to the Partner.

Purchasing sits with our Purchase Manager. Physical stores, container stuffing and loading tally sit with Stores. Payment release sits with Accounts. This role does not cover any of those.

What we need from you

• Tell us how many shipments or containers a month you have handled, and which countries you shipped to. We need an actual number.

• Tell us what you check on a draft shipping bill before it goes for filing.

• Good written English. Most of your day will be email, to buyers and to agents. We will give you something to write before the interview.

• Incoterms, LC against DA against DP, DGFT, RCMC, drawback, RoDTEP, Rules of Origin.

• Ghaziabad, Noida or east NCR. People travelling across Delhi have not lasted with us.
