Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Documentation: Generate delivery orders, tax invoices, and packing lists to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Transportation Coordination: Schedule and assign vehicles, negotiate terms with transport vendors, and track freight to minimize transportation costs while maximizing delivery efficiency.
Shipment Monitoring: Track goods in transit, provide real-time status updates to customers, and quickly resolve delivery discrepancies, delays, or damages.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the central hub between sales, warehouse inventory, logistics providers, and customer service teams to ensure seamless daily operations. [1, 2]
Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate databases of all dispatch activities, pass transporter bills, and prepare performance reports to help leadership identify bottlenecks. [1, 2, 3]
