Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end transportation operations from material pickup/loading to final delivery and unloading.
Plan and coordinate daily vehicle placement as per customer and shipment requirements.
Ensure timely loading of material and proper coordination.
Ensure material is properly loaded, secured, and dispatched as per safety and operational requirements.
Manage and supervise daily transport and branch operations.
Plan and monitor vehicle transit, routes, and schedules.
Ensure timely vehicle placement and delivery as per customer requirements.
Manage drivers, transport staff, and operational teams.
Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle placement, deliveries, and operational issues.
Handle vehicle breakdowns, delays, route issues, and other operational emergencies.
Coordinate with local transport vendors and attached vehicle owners.
Verify trip sheets, PODs, vehicle documents, and other operational records.
Monitor Labour attendance.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Coordinate with the billing team and provide accurate trip and POD information.
Handle customer complaints and escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Handle branch expenses.
