The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service, high guest satisfaction, team discipline, and sales performance. This role acts as the bridge between staff and management while maintaining brand standards on the floor.
Operations Management
Supervise daily restaurant operations and opening/closing procedures
Ensure service standards, hygiene, and food quality are maintained
Handle rush hours and resolve operational issues quickly
Coordinate with kitchen and service team for smooth order flow
Team Management
Train, guide and monitor stewards, captains and support staff
Allocate duties and manage shift schedules
Maintain discipline, grooming, and attendance
Motivate team to achieve service and sales targets
Guest Experience
Greet and interact with guests during service
Handle complaints professionally and resolve escalations
Ensure quick service and positive dining experience
Maintain repeat customer relationships
Sales & Billing
Monitor daily sales and suggest upselling strategies
