Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Restaurant Captain to oversee daily restaurant operations, supervise service staff, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have leadership skills, good communication abilities, and a strong understanding of restaurant service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage service staff including waiters and stewards
Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day restaurant operations
Provide excellent customer service and promptly handle guest complaints
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall dining area presentation
Ensure accuracy in order taking, billing, and payments
Train and guide junior staff to maintain service standards
Maintain discipline and grooming standards among staff
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Captain / Senior Steward in a restaurant
Basic communication skills in English
Good leadership and team management abilities
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible to work in shifts
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of POS systems and billing processes
Basic understanding of food and beverage service standards
Problem-solving and conflict-handling skills
