Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Experience

• Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.

• Greet guests, assist with seating, and provide menu recommendations.

• Address guest concerns and complaints effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Build positive relationships with guests and encourage repeat business.

Restaurant Operations

• Supervise daily dining area operations and ensure smooth service flow.

• Ensure all tables are properly set and maintained as per company standards.

• Monitor service quality and ensure SOPs are consistently followed.

• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order delivery.

Team Leadership & Training

• Lead, guide, and motivate Stewards and service staff during shifts.

• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational updates.

• Train team members on service standards, product knowledge, and guest engagement.

• Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and performance.

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Promote menu specials, seasonal offerings, and upselling opportunities.

• Encourage suggestive selling to maximize average guest spend.

• Support outlet sales targets through effective guest engagement.

Quality, Hygiene & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and statutory requirements.

Inventory & Cash Handling

• Monitor usage of operating supplies and minimize wastage.

• Assist in stock control and inventory management.

• Support billing operations and ensure accuracy in guest transactions when required.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.

• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stores, Housekeeping, and other departments for smooth operations.

• Assist in managing reservations, table allocations, and guest flow during peak hours.
