ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Video Editor Intern who is genuinely interested in learning and building a career in video editing and digital content creation.

During this internship, you will work closely with our team to convert long-form podcast conversations into engaging short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

This role is designed for individuals who want to improve their editing skills, understand modern content formats, and gain real experience in digital media production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Edit short-form clips from podcast episodes and long-form recordings

• Create engaging Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

• Add subtitles, cuts, and visual elements to improve viewer engagement

• Work with timestamps and content ideas shared by the team

• Follow modern editing styles used by creators and digital media brands

• Organize footage, project files, and final exports properly

• Assist the team in experimenting with new editing styles and formats

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

During this internship, you will learn:

• How long-form podcasts are converted into viral short-form content

• Editing techniques used by modern creators and digital brands

• How pacing, subtitles, and storytelling affect viewer engagement

• Real editing workflows used by content teams and media companies

• How short-form content is optimized for social media growth

Candidates who demonstrate strong learning ability and performance during the internship may also be considered for a full-time opportunity with the team, along with a revision in compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Students or recent graduates interested in video editing or digital media

• Basic knowledge of video editing and editing concepts (cuts, pacing, storytelling)

• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred

• Familiarity with CapCut for short-form video editing will be an added advantage

• Interest in Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and short-form content

• Genuine interest in building skills and a career in video editing

• Ability to work in a creative, fast-paced environment

• Access to a good laptop capable of running video editing software smoothly

• A portfolio, sample edits, or previous work will be an added advantage

COMPENSATION

₹9,000 – ₹12,000 per month (depending on skills and availability)

Note: Final stipend may vary based on interview performance and practical tasks shared during the selection process.
