ob Title: Video Editor & Animator

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Motion Graphics & 2D Animation Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging animations, motion graphics, and video content that align with brand identity and storytelling objectives. This role requires a balance of artistic vision, technical expertise, and content creation skills to deliver high-quality visuals for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging motion graphics and character animations.

• Design product videos, explainer videos, and brand visuals.

• Develop 2D animations including characters, objects, and text-based elements.

• Design motion graphics for intros, transitions, infographics, kinetic typography, and brand storytelling.

• Create storyboards and concepts to visualize project flow and creative direction.

• Transform scripts into visually compelling video content that engages audiences.

• Ensure color, typography, and design elements align with branding and aesthetic standards.

• Edit and enhance videos using Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro and apply VFX through After Effects.

• Work on logo design and brand identity creation.

• Contribute to UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.

• Adapt videos for multiple platforms and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).

• Manage audio editing, color grading, and export settings for optimal performance across YouTube, Instagram, and other channels.

• Collaborate with the creative team to maintain branding consistency across all content.

• Storyboarding & Concept Development

• Strong sense of color theory, typography, and aesthetics

• Figma

• Photoshop

Software & Technical Skills

• Adobe After Effects (motion graphics, animation, VFX)

• Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro (video editing)

• Adobe Animate (2D character animation)

• Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (designing assets, thumbnails, branding elements)

• DaVinci Resolve (color grading, advanced editing – optional)

• Canva / Figma (quick layouts, social media graphics – optional)

• Audio Editing (Adobe Audition, Audacity, or equivalent)

Content Creation Skills

• Experience in multiple content styles: vlogs, promotional ads, reels, explainer videos

• Thumbnail design for YouTube & social media

• Branding consistency through logos, lower-thirds, intros/outros

• Knowledge of compression & export settings for various platforms

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in motion graphics, 2D animation, and video editing.

• Strong portfolio showcasing animation and motion design work.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
