Job Title: Video Editor & Videographer

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and professional Video Editor & Videographer who can independently handle both video shooting and professional video editing. The ideal candidate should have a good eye for visual storytelling, composition, lighting, sound, and editing, along with the ability to create engaging, high-quality video content for digital platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete video production workflow—from planning and shooting to editing and delivering the final video.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for various business and digital requirements.

· Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, and other video equipment.

· Set up appropriate lighting, framing, camera angles, and audio for video shoots.

· Edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos.

· Create engaging videos for social media, promotional campaigns, corporate communication, marketing, and other digital platforms.

· Perform video cutting, transitions, color correction, color grading, audio enhancement, and basic motion graphics.

· Add subtitles, captions, text overlays, music, sound effects, and other visual elements where required.

· Create videos in different formats, including 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 for various platforms.

· Collaborate with the marketing/content team to understand creative requirements and deliver videos accordingly.

· Manage multiple video projects while meeting deadlines.

· Organize and maintain video footage, project files, assets, and archives.

· Stay updated with current video editing techniques, social media trends, and content formats.

Required Skills

· 1–3 years of professional experience in Video Shooting and Video Editing.

· Strong knowledge of professional video cameras and shooting equipment.

· Hands-on experience with professional video editing software such as:

o Adobe Premiere Pro

o Adobe After Effects

o DaVinci Resolve

o Final Cut Pro or equivalent tools

· Good understanding of color correction and color grading.

· Knowledge of basic motion graphics, transitions, typography, and visual effects.

· Understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and audio recording.

· Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content.

· Good creative sense and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.

· Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience creating Reels, YouTube videos, corporate videos, promotional videos, and social media content.

· Knowledge of short-form video production and current social media trends.

· Experience with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, gimbals, tripods, lighting equipment, and wireless microphones.

· Basic knowledge of photography would be an advantage.

· Candidates with a strong video portfolio/showreel will be preferred.
