Job Description: Personal Loan Sales & Overdraft Sales

Position: Sales Executive / Relationship Officer
Department: Retail Banking / Sales

Job Summary

Responsible for acquiring new customers and generating business for personal loans and overdraft facilities. The role involves customer acquisition, lead generation, relationship management, documentation, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads through field visits, referrals, tele-calling, and other sales channels.

• Acquire new customers for personal loans and overdraft facilities.

• Explain loan/OD products, eligibility, interest rates, charges, and repayment terms to customers.

• Follow up with prospective customers and convert leads into successful applications.

• Collect and verify required customer documents and KYC details.

• Coordinate with credit, operations, and other internal teams for application processing and disbursement.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

• Achieve assigned monthly sales and revenue targets.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, KYC norms, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, conversions, and customer interactions.

Eligibility

• Graduate preferred.

• 0–3 years of experience in banking, NBFC, fintech, personal loan, OD, or financial-product sales.

• Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also be considered.

• Good communication, convincing, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.

• Comfortable with field sales and target-based work.
