Job Summary

Skylocdentec Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled Dental Chair Technician responsible for installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of dental chairs and related dental equipment. The candidate should have practical knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, water-line, and mechanical systems used in dental chairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot dental chairs and related equipment.

• Have practical knowledge of solenoid valve fitting, replacement, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Install and maintain PCV fittings, pneumatic fittings, connectors, and air/water lines.

• Check and troubleshoot air pressure, water pressure, leakage, and pneumatic systems.

• Understand the working of dental chair air, water, suction, and electrical systems.

• Use a multimeter to check voltage, continuity, resistance, wiring, switches, motors, transformers, and electrical components.

• Identify electrical faults and troubleshoot wiring, switches, relays, motors, and control systems.

• Check and troubleshoot dental chair motors, limit switches, foot controls, control boards, and electrical connections.

• Perform proper installation and testing of dental chair components after repair.

• Check for air/water leakage and ensure all fittings are properly tightened and functioning.

• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing of dental chairs.

• Diagnose faults and provide timely solutions during customer service visits.

• Maintain proper records of installation, servicing, repairs, and replaced parts.

• Follow company safety procedures while working with electrical, pneumatic, and water systems.

• Handle tools, testing instruments, spare parts, and company equipment responsibly.

• Coordinate with senior technicians and the technical team for complex issues.

• Travel to customer locations for installation and service work when required.

Essential Technical Skills

The candidate should be able to:

• Fit and replace Solenoid Valves.

• Fit and replace PCV/Pneumatic fittings.

• Work with PU tubes, connectors, air lines, and water lines.

• Check air pressure and water pressure.

• Detect and repair air and water leakage.

• Use a digital multimeter for electrical testing.

• Check AC/DC voltage, continuity, resistance, and wiring.

• Troubleshoot motors, switches, relays, transformers, foot controls, and control boards.

• Understand basic electrical and pneumatic circuits.

• Perform dental chair installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance.

Key Skills & Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field preferred.

• Experience with dental chairs or medical equipment will be an advantage.

• Practical knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to use hand tools and a multimeter correctly.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Willingness to travel for installation and service work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

• Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work.
