Job Summary

The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of patients, guests, staff, and property within the hospital/hospitality premises. The role requires continuous observation of CCTV cameras, timely reporting of suspicious activities, and close coordination with security and administration teams to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems on a regular and continuous basis.

• Identify, observe, and report suspicious activities, safety risks, or security breaches promptly.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle surveillance footage responsibly in line with privacy policies.

• Record incidents and prepare basic daily security and observation reports.

• Coordinate with security personnel during emergencies, incidents, or unusual situations.

• Ensure all CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and monitoring equipment are functioning properly and report faults if any.

• Follow hospital/hospitality safety, security, and privacy policies at all times.

• Assist in internal or external investigations by reviewing and providing CCTV footage when required.

• Maintain accurate log books, incident registers, and shift handover reports.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems (DVR/NVR).

• Good observation skills with strong attention to detail.

• Basic computer knowledge.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Calm, alert, and responsible nature with quick response abilities.

• Good communication and basic reporting skills.

Qualification Required

• 12th Pass

• Graduate (BA preferred)
