🎯 Role Objective

To ensure seamless factory operations, accurate inventory control, quality vendor coordination, and professional execution of installation & service support — maintaining RIO’s commitment to precision and reliability.

This role is a hands-on techno-operational role requiring both shop-floor discipline and field service responsibility.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Material Inwards & Inventory Control

• Handle complete material inward process with documentation verification

• Inspect received material against PO & technical specifications

• Maintain GRN records and stock entry in system

• Conduct periodic stock taking and reconciliation

• Ensure minimum stock levels of critical components

• Prevent stock leakage, damage, and misplacement

2️⃣ Vendor Development & Management

• Identify and develop new fabrication / machining / electrical vendors

• Coordinate with vendors for quality, delivery timelines & cost control

• Conduct part inspection at vendor premises

• Ensure components meet drawing & tolerance standards

• Maintain vendor performance tracking (Quality, Delivery, Cost)

3️⃣ Assembly & Production Support

• Understand mechanical drawings and system architecture

• Perform mechanical assembly and proper fitment

• Execute panel wiring as per electrical schematics

• Ensure proper cable routing, shielding and termination

• Maintain neat and standard industrial wiring practices

• Coordinate for sub-assembly preparation before dispatch

4️⃣ Testing & Trial

• Conduct internal trial runs and system testing

• Calibrate weighing systems as per standard procedure

• Verify load cell performance, indicator scaling, and signal integrity

• Ensure systems are fully tested before dispatch

• Maintain testing reports and checklist documentation

5️⃣ Installation & Commissioning (Field Role)

• Travel to customer site for installation of:

  • Weighing Controllers

  • Checkweighers

  • Load Cells

  • DWS Systems

• Perform on-site mechanical and electrical fitments

• Ensure proper grounding, shielding and signal stability

• Conduct final commissioning and demonstration to customer

6️⃣ Service & Troubleshooting

• Provide online telephonic technical support

• Diagnose issues related to:

  • Load cells

  • Indicators

  • Wiring

  • Signal noise

  • Calibration errors

• Visit site for breakdown support when required

• Maintain service report and closure documentation

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of Load Cells & Weighing Systems

• Knowledge of Panel Wiring & Electrical Diagrams

• Mechanical Assembly & Fitment Skills

• Basic understanding of calibration & testing

• Use of multimeter and basic electrical tools

• Understanding of shielding & industrial wiring best practices

🎓 Qualification

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical

• 1–4 years experience in industrial equipment assembly or service preferred

• Freshers with strong practical exposure may apply
