Preschool Teacher

Location: under MNS FUNCTION HALL Near HP Petrol Pump, Opposite Adarsha Nagar, NS Grammer School Lane Chilkanagar Raod Uppal.
Reports To: Coordinator/Director/Principal/Administrator
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: - 8000 - 18000 Per month

Job Summary

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate educational experiences for children ages 2–6. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. This role works collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and families to promote positive learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood education standards.

• Create a warm, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that supports individual learning needs.

• Observe, assess, and document children’s development and progress, maintaining accurate records.

• Support children’s social-emotional development and positive behavior through guidance and encouragement.

• Ensure health, safety, and supervision standards are followed at all times.

• Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, reports, and daily updates.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, assistants, and administrators to support classroom and school goals.

• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.

• Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintenance of materials and supplies.

• Support children during transitions, routines, and special school events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Associate degree may be considered).

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting.

• Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.

• Understanding of state licensing requirements and classroom safety standards.

• Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in inclusive or special education classrooms.

• Familiarity with early childhood curriculum approaches such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or Creative Curriculum.

• Ability to use educational technology and classroom documentation tools.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
