Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Computer Science Teacher to teach students of 11th and 12th standard. The teacher will be responsible for delivering the Computer Science curriculum, conducting practical sessions, preparing students for board examinations, and developing students' programming and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science subjects to 11th and 12th standard students as per the prescribed curriculum.

• Prepare and deliver engaging theory and practical lessons.

• Teach programming concepts, coding, algorithms, data structures, databases, and other relevant topics.

• Conduct computer lab sessions and provide practical programming guidance.

• Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, worksheets, tests, and question papers.

• Evaluate students through class tests, practical examinations, assignments, and projects.

• Prepare students effectively for HSC/Board examinations.

• Identify students' learning gaps and provide additional academic support.

• Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, coding skills, and application-based learning.

• Maintain proper records of attendance, marks, assignments, and student performance.

• Keep students updated with relevant computer science concepts and technologies.

• Ensure proper discipline and responsible use of computer laboratory facilities.

• Participate in academic meetings, workshops, seminars, parent-teacher meetings, and college activities.

• Collaborate with other faculty members for academic planning and student development.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science and programming concepts.

• Good command of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Java, or as required by the curriculum.

• Knowledge of Database Management Systems, SQL, HTML/CSS, algorithms, and data structures is preferred.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.

• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to motivate and guide junior college students.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Basic knowledge of digital teaching tools and educational technology.

Preferred Experience

• Previous teaching experience with 11th and 12th standard / Junior College students will be preferred.

• Experience teaching the Maharashtra State Board HSC Computer Science curriculum will be an advantage.

• Candidates with experience in board examination preparation and practical examinations will be preferred.
