Job Description (JD) – Tender Executive

Designation: Tender Executive

Location: Surat

Department: Sales / Business Development

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in a Technical Discipline

Age Criteria: 25 to 35 Years

Gender: Male/Female

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor tender portals such as GeM, CPPP, and other relevant government/private procurement platforms.

• Identify suitable tenders based on company eligibility and business objectives.

Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, eligibility criteria, and commercial requirements.

• Prepare and submit tender documents within stipulated deadlines.

Coordinate with internal departments for technical, commercial, and statutory documents required for bid submission.

• Maintain records of submitted tenders, bid status, and follow-up activities.

• Respond to tender-related queries, clarifications, and correspondence from clients.

• Track tender results and follow up until award or closure.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Government and Private Tendering Processes.

• Hands-on experience with the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal.

• Understanding of bid documentation and contract terms.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in tender participation and bid management.

• Knowledge of e-procurement platforms and government procurement procedures.
