We are looking for a Tender Executive to join our team at at Br Mep Engineers Private Limited. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building long-lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven record of closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Search & Identification
Regularly check portals like GeM, e-Procurement, CPPP, state tenders, private portals
Identify relevant tenders based on company profile (civil, electrical, MEP, etc.)
Track upcoming tenders and prepare alerts
📄 2. Tender Documentation
Download and study tender documents (NIT, BOQ, technical specs)
Prepare and compile required documents:
Company profile
Financial statements
Experience certificates
EMD/BG details
Ensure all documents are complete and compliant
💰 3. Costing & BOQ Preparation
Coordinate with estimation/engineering team
Analyze BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
Prepare cost estimates and pricing strategy
Ensure competitive yet profitable bidding
🖥️ 4. Online Tender Submission
Upload documents on portals (GeM, e-tender sites)
Ensure proper digital signature (DSC) usage
Submit bids before deadlines
Resolve technical issues during submission
🤝 5. Coordination
Coordinate with:
Internal teams (accounts, engineering, management)
External vendors/suppliers for quotations
Arrange EMD, tender fees, and other requirements
📊 6. Tender Tracking & Follow-up
Maintain tender register / tracker
Follow up for results, clarifications, and negotiations
Track awarded tenders and maintain records
📑 7. Compliance & Legal Understanding
Ensure compliance with tender conditions
Understand contract terms, penalties, and clauses
Handle pre-bid queries and attend meetings (if required)
📈 8. Market Research & Strategy
Study competitors and market rates
Identify new business opportunities
Suggest improvements in bidding strategy
🧾 9. Post-Tender Activities
Assist in contract finalization if awarded
Coordinate for LOA/Work Order processing
Handover details to execution team
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 5 - 6 years of experience. Applicants should have strong negotiation skills, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
