Compensation: [10,000 - 15,000 Base Salary] + Performance-Based Incentives [1,000 - 11,000]

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Motor Insurance Sales Executive to join our retail sales team. In this entry-level role, you will help vehicle owners secure the right private car and two-wheeler insurance policies, handle renewal inquiries, and convert incoming leads into active policies. Comprehensive product training, sales scripts, and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Conversion & Calling: Connect with inbound leads, past policy databases, and prospective customers to pitch motor insurance policies (Comprehensive, Third-Party, and Add-ons).

• Needs Assessment: Understand customer vehicle details, usage, and budget to recommend suitable insurance plans, deductibles, and riders (e.g., Zero Depreciation, Roadside Assistance, Engine Protect).

• Policy Issuance: Collect necessary vehicle and KYC documents, generate premium quotes using our portal, and assist customers through online/offline payment processing to issue policy documents.

• Renewals & Cross-Selling: Reach out to existing policyholders ahead of renewal due dates to ensure timely renewals and cross-sell relevant add-on protections.

• Relationship Building: Coordinate with partner automobile dealerships, service centers, and independent agents to generate steady referral leads.

• Pipeline Management: Maintain daily calling logs, follow-up schedules, and lead statuses within the CRM system.

• Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls made, quotes generated, and closed policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, B.A., B.Sc.) or equivalent. High school graduates with strong communication skills may also apply.

• Experience: Freshers welcome. Prior internship experience in telecalling, retail sales, customer support, or financial services is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Clear spoken and written communication in English and [Local Language, e.g., Hindi].

• Persuasion & Negotiation: Ability to handle customer objections, explain policy terms clearly, and close deals over phone or in person.

• Computer Literacy: Familiarity with basic computer tools, MS Excel/Word, and web-based portals or CRMs.

• Mindset: Goal-oriented, resilient, and eager to learn the insurance and automotive ecosystem.
