A telecaller communicates with prospective and current customers over the phone to generate leads, promote products, and provide customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Make Outbound Calls: Reach out to potential clients using scripts to introduce company products or services.
Handle Inbound Queries: Answer incoming phone calls and address customer questions or complaints.
Nurture Leads: Follow up with prospective buyers to move them through the sales pipeline.
Update Records: Log all customer interactions, feedback, and details into the company's CRM system.
Meet Targets: Achieve daily and weekly calling quotas, lead counts, or sales goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Excellent verbal skills and a polite, clear tone of voice.
Resilience: Ability to handle rejection calmly and maintain professionalism.
Computer Literacy: Basic data entry skills and familiarity with CRM software.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (graduation is a plus for some roles)
