Job Profile Team Leader (TL)
Objective of Job
To manage smaller group of people and ensure sales objectives are met on monthly, quarterly and annually. Should be able to coach, review and manage smaller team size. Support sales team members to achieve their respective sales targets. Achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department in accordance with the company management goals. Coordinating and managing sales staff and representing Mercedes-Benz standards and Mercedes-Benz philosophy externally.
Qualification
o Basics : Any graduation
o Experience (type of) : 5-8 years with at least 3 years in automotive sales
o Specialized Knowledge: Communication skills, analytical skills, ability to handle dynamic situation,
basic computer skills, people management
Job Designation/Field of Work:
1 Sales Team Target Setting:
Based on monthly and quarterly sales targets, set individual targets for each sales consultants model wise Define targets for each sales consultants in terms of Enquiries, TD, Orders and retails
Define qualitative targets for each sales consultants (Data quality, CSI, E-dealer, etc
2 Sales Team Monitoring and Coaching
Conduct everyday morning team meeting to review individual sales targets
Monitor sales consultants sales performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis
On the job Coaching of sales team to improve sales team performance on regular basis
Support sales team to achieve team targets
3 Sales team Training
Identify gap areas in each sales consultants in terms of product knowledge, functional skills and basic skills
Define individual coaching plan to improve sales performance of sales consultants
Conduct on the job and class room training for team members on product, basic skill, etiquettes
As per defined in-house training calendar or as per need basis
4 Performance evaluation
Conduct performance evaluation (Quantitative and Qualitative targets) of individual team members
Conduct SWOT analysis of each individual
Discuss SWOT analysis with each individual and have consensus
Define individual development plan
5 Sales Operations
Coordinate with each member of sales team to execute retail sales process from Contact to delivery
Ensure proper contact management, lead management
Ensure proper customer contact documentation in enquiry card and e-dealer
Support and coach sales team on Mercedes Benz Sales process implementation
Handle customers on need basis on behalf of sales consultants in the showroom and in the field
Coordination with other internal departments (Accounts, Finance, Sales support) to ensure smooth and speedy execution of New Car delivery process
Ensure highest customer satisfaction by implementing the Mercedes Benz sales process
Implementation of Mercedes Benz Systems at the retail level
Monitor process and system implementation
Support sales team with all necessary tools (Sales kit) and resources (test drive cars) closing sales
Support marketing for execution of marketing activities in the showroom and field
6 Human Resources
Involvement in interviews and decisions regarding employing new staff
Employing new staff and developing an induction plan
Managing, coaching and motivating employees and thus ensuring a high quality of employees
Defining target agreements with employees
Checking levels of target achievement and reaching/agreeing measures to correct these should deviations occur
Assessing employees and, if necessary, initiating disciplinary measures and regularly carrying out employee discussions
