Job Summary
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving overall revenue growth, expanding retail and B2B sales channels, building high-performance sales teams, and strengthening the Narmiss Home Furnishing brand across markets. This role demands strategic leadership, execution excellence, and deep understanding of the home furnishing retail ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive revenue across retail stores, distributors, dealers, architects, interior designers, and institutional clients.
Identify new markets, territories, and growth opportunities.
Own pricing strategy, discount frameworks, and margin optimization.
2. Channel Development
Build and scale retail, franchise, and distributor networks.
Develop B2B partnerships with real estate developers, hospitality, and corporate clients.
Establish strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and project consultants.
3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Build, mentor, and lead regional sales managers, store managers, and sales teams.
Define clear targets, KPIs, and incentive structures.
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and capability building.
4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Track market trends, competitor pricing, and product positioning.
Gather customer insights to guide product assortment and design strategy.
Provide feedback to product and supply chain teams for demand planning.
5. Sales Operations & Governance
Monitor sales pipeline, forecasts, and MIS reporting.
Ensure discipline in CRM usage, collections, and credit controls.
Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and marketing for smooth execution.
6. Brand & Customer Engagement
Represent Narmiss Home Furnishing at exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events.
Support marketing campaigns, showroom launches, and promotional activities.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all sales touchpoints.
Required Skills & Qualifications
MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
10–15 years of experience in home furnishing, furniture, lifestyle retail, or building materials.
Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams and channels.
Strong negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in retail expansion, distributor management, and B2B project sales.
Strong analytical skills with hands-on approach to execution.
