Overview
A Real Estate Sales Manager oversees the sales operations of a real estate brokerage or firm. They recruit, train, and manage agents, develop sales strategies, and ensure targets are achieved while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of real estate agents
Set sales goals and monitor team performance against targets
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing plans
Recruit, train, and onboard new agents
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, and investors
Oversee property listings, pricing strategies, and negotiations
Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and company policies
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for senior management
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in real estate sales (often 3–5+ years)
Previous leadership or managerial experience
Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of local property markets and regulations
Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
Real estate license (required in most regions)
