Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven Sales Manager – Wholesale with a strong focus on customer acquisition and business expansion from scratch. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully worked in new setups (0 to 1 stage) and has a proven track record of building wholesale business, acquiring clients, and driving revenue growth from day 1 in the clothing and accessories segment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition (Core Focus)
Aggressively identify and onboard new wholesalers, distributors, retailers, and bulk buyers
Build the wholesale business from scratch, including market mapping and lead generation
Develop strong pipelines through cold calling, field visits, trade networks, and references
Achieve monthly new client acquisition targets
2. Business Setup & Expansion
Establish and scale wholesale operations from the ground up
Identify new markets, regions, and channels for expansion
Set up processes for onboarding, pricing, and order management
3. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with key B2B clients
Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
Ensure repeat business and account growth
4. Sales Strategy & Execution
Create and execute sales plans aligned with revenue targets
Monitor competition, pricing trends, and demand patterns
Optimize product mix based on client needs and market trends
5. Order & Inventory Coordination
Work closely with inventory and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment
Ensure timely delivery and high client satisfaction
Forecast demand based on client pipelines
6. Performance & Reporting
Maintain strong reporting discipline on leads, conversions, and revenue
Track KPIs related to acquisition, retention, and sales growth
Ensure timely collections and manage client credit cycles
Mandatory Requirements
Proven experience in building wholesale/B2B sales from scratch (0–1 stage)
Strong and demonstrated customer acquisition track record
Prior experience in startup or new business setup environment is a must
Evidence of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
3–7 years of experience in wholesale/B2B sales (fashion/apparel preferred)
Strong network in clothing, accessories, or textile markets
Excellent negotiation, communication, and closing skills
Self-starter with high ownership and execution capability
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
