Sales & Freight Forwarding Manager

Job Responsibilities

Generate new business for Air Freight, Train Freight, and Ocean Freight services.

Meet clients directly and develop strong customer relationships.

Achieve weekly sales targets and monthly business targets assigned by the company.

Conduct field marketing and regular client visits.

Bring new customers and business opportunities to the company.

Candidates having existing client base or active logistics business will be preferred.

Prepare quotations and negotiate freight rates with customers.

Coordinate with operations team for smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.

Follow up with customers for regular business and payment collections.

Travel within Chennai and other locations for business development activities when required.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 1–3 years experience in Logistics Sales & Marketing.

Experience in Air Freight, Train Freight, or Ocean Freight sales preferred.

Good communication, negotiation, and marketing skills.

Target-oriented and capable of achieving business goals.

Must be willing to travel and do field work.

Candidates with existing business contacts/customers will have added advantage.
